Dr. Tooles is a licensed Physical Therapist in Philadelphia, specializing in traumatic brain injury and vestibular dysfunction. She has been engaged in diversity initiatives and bias training for the past 15 years starting as a Lead for Diversity Delegate, then as a member of Temple’s National Council of Negro Women and University of Delaware’s Black Graduate Student Association. Dr. Tooles Chaired APTA PA’s Minority Affairs Committee, NJ’s Cultural Diversity Committee and Einstein Healthcare Networks Cultural Diversity Special Interest Group. Dr. Tooles currently is an Instructor at Temple University where she teaches cultural competence in healthcare, and formerly hosted a hospital systems staff podcast on DEI topics.
