About the event
Join us for a fun, interactive Saturday morning at Widener University where movement meets science! Designed especially for 6th-8th graders and their guardians, this hands-on program helps participants discover why physical activity matters - not just for athletes, but for everyone. Led by Widener University Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students and volunteers, participants will explore how exercise helps the body heal, reduces stress, improves sleep and keeps muscles and joints working their best. Through engaging activities, discussions and movement-based lessons, you will explore how to create a exercise routine, manage stress and explore careers that use physical activity to help others!
Come ready to move, learn and discover how staying in motion can power a healthier life!
Event Details
Check in opens at 9:30 AM and closes at 10 AM.
Troops are responsible for maintaining appropriate chaperone ratio.
All participants must provide completed event waiver for participation.
