1. There is no fee to the facility to host a Community Based Learning Event.

2. There is no money exchanged between a hosting facility and Explore the Magic of Motion®, LLC unless special arrangements have been previously arranged in writing.

3. There is no monthly fee for a facility to use the Explore the Magic of Motion® name, as long as the Program Managers and Volunteers have been trained by Explore the Magic of Motion®, LLC and maintain a current certificate. 

4. Inspire Motion Trainings are scheduled a minimum of 3 months in advance. Example: Reserve date in September for December. However, more notice is preferred.

5. Host facility will receive: 

  • 3 FREE Basic I Trainings

  • 10% off Basic I Trainings (Max: 10)

To receive discounted rates, individuals must be registered volunteers at the Community Based Learning Event.

6. The host facility must provide 3 eligible volunteers (recipients of free Basic I training) to assist with set up and workshop facilitation. These individuals should be available to help with set up the night before, registration in the morning, and break down at the end of the day, plus any other facility needs during the event.

7. Explore the Magic of Motion® Administrator will provide the facility with a flyer to distribute. Host facility must help in marketing the event networking with local and regional contacts, facilities, schools, as well as area healthcare providers & schools.

8. A group discount of 20% off Basic II Live Trainings (Max: 3) is available for host facility. Attendees must register at the same time to receive the group discount. Contact info@magicofmotion.org to arrange this rate. 

9. Individuals not in the group will register for Program Manager training on https://www.magicofmotion.org/courses.

10. Explore the Magic of Motion® reserves the right to cancel any event up to seven (7) days from the date due to extenuating circumstances that may arise or if there is a lack of interest/registrants.

11. Once a host has committed to an event date, the host is expected to make every effort to hold the event as scheduled. In extenuating circumstances, if the host is unable to provide the stated facility, the host will provide Explore the Magic of Motion® with an alternative venue of equal size with similar resources in the local area.

12. A large trash can is always recommended to help keep your room clean.

13. Explore the Magic of Motion® Administrator will run all the processes. All registrations and money are handled by the Administrator and through the Magic of Motion website. However, the Administrator will need some contact person at the facility to help with "getting the word out," setting up, making sure all processes run smoothly, etc.

14. Explore the Magic of Motion® offers the following Events:

 

Healthy Teams™ - (3rd-5th) 

Participants will engage in a 3-part workshop series that discusses the different body systems that exist, including the cardiovascular, vestibular (balance) and nervous system. While learning how these body parts work together to keep us moving, participants will learn and practice teamwork skills like communication and compromise. They will also gain exposure to some of the health care teams that specifically cater to these body systems.

Magic of Motion ™ - (6th-8th)         

Participants will know how to be physically active, and the role exercise plays in healing the body and keeping it healthy. Participants will engage in a 3-part workshop series that discusses the different body systems that exist, including the musculoskeletal, respiratory, and cardiovascular system. Participants will also learn about the benefits of physical activity for stress management.

 

Healing Through Motion™ (9th-10th) 

Participants will engage in a 3-part workshop series that discusses the different body systems that exist, including the nervous, musculoskeletal, and lymphatic system. Participants will be introduced to various medical careers that use physical activity to improve health and have hands on exposure to the technology used in healthcare. They will have opportunities to role play what patients may experience and discuss the importance of building a strong support system for a healthy life.

 

Healing People, Changing Lives™ (11th-12th) 

Participants will engage in a 3-part workshop series that discusses pelvic health, wound care and how to pursue a health career they are passionate about.​
